New Hypothetical Game .. to be set Nov 42 - Jan 43 .

As there has been some keen interest in my DIR game , I invite your contributions on some units for the new game :roll: .

I am looking to add some independent co, btn , regt or brigades to the new game . You may put forward any ideas on Russian or Axis units that fought on the Eastern Front around this time ( 11/42 - 2/43) and within reason they may be hypothetical and possibly include equipment not so far used in PZC . The units are for Chrome style interest they need not be Elite units ( look at the SS UKR POLICE in DIR , the purpose of those units is mainly to show how eqipment could be wasted in motorising a unit that need not be .. often the case ) .The important thing is they must fit into the feel of the game and that time .


For instance in an isolated pocket we may find hasty companies of transport drivers , Luftwaffe ground crews ,cooks etc . There could also be units of redundant equipment say a Soviet tank training company of T35 or a captured MK4 company ?

One of many units I have added is 3 Soviet companies of Flamethrower T34 ako42 , historical units not so far dipicted in PZC . However considering the fighting that will be going on its realistic to depict them .

So put forward an OOB ( if its new unit send the art as well ) !

That's not really true.
A OoB exists with OT-34 and KV-8. But it's as for now just an incomplete OoB. One crazy frenchman is still working on a palimpsest of Marquo's scenario on the third battle of Kharkov. And he has included some of this tank on it.
He also added avotmatchiki and razvedshiki units which are really not dipicted in PzC for now :lol:

Well Cav I'm very interrested by your new scenario project.
I wished to make a Stalingrad PzC myself since a long time but without a map to make it........ :cry:
If you are in need for a beta tester I'm volunteer for this one :D

I would also like to see a Stalingrad game ever since the board games and the W@W Stalingrad days.
I am making a Stalingrad style scenario as I said , when the game is ready to be tested I will post a message here and thanks for your interest . At the moment I am adding strategy options . My first impressions are its all shaping up very well . I hope it will be ready early October
